Problem with power sliding rear window

hey everyone, i've been having this problem with my power sliding rear window
for a while now, when i press the switch for it to open it only goes about
1/4 of the way and i have to push it back with my hand while i press the
switch but when i close it i don't have any problems at all. Thanks in
advance for any help.
