I'm glad that I made the swap even though I'll have to put
back the stock one every two years to get by the emission
testing.

You'll get the most out of it if you've got a cam and beefed-up
valvetrain components. It gives a nice broad and flat torque
curve over a broad rpm range as opposed to the torquey
lowend rpm curve and early fall-off of the stock manifold.

With my 'mild' cam (Magnum R/T), the hp curve has a smooth
rise and peaks at around 5000 rpms and drop-off to 5500 rpm
is just around 6 hp.
