What Matt was referring too is that Dodge lowered the number game on the 4.7
to make it smaller than it really is in the HP & TQ department. The reality
is different on the Dynojet run versus what is claimed by the factory. I
will have my truck Dynojet by JBA this month to confirm Matt tickets, along
with two other I have seen done in Escondido. The shell game of what is
reality and what is claimed are not the same.

But wait until 2002 and the number game will be different again.

Sam, What mods have been done to your engine?? I'll agree the 4.7L won't
beat the 5.9L in the Torque dept., but beat them it will, and does,
regularly ;) And not "Heavily modded" either, atleast not yet :) Only
point I was trying to make with Jack was it wasn't a 50 ft. lbs difference
in the two engines. I never said the 4.7L had more TQ.

<Mine puts out 327 ft lbs. of torque to the rear wheels, and 237 hp...

<I also have had a few 5.2L (still have one), and even if a 5.2L doesn't
<have the HP of a 4.7L, it does have more torque... and the 5.2L isn't
<a match for a 5.9L in the torque department... No way. I've driven the
<4.7L... I like it. But it won't be able to beat a 5.9L unless heavily
<modded.
