I believe that the lines running from the Master Cylinder lead to a part
containing
a combination valve from which one line goes to the front brakes and the
other goes
to the rear hydraulic control unit. I would think that you would want to
tap into
the line going to the front brakes for the line lock.

Whatsa about nipples! Remember, looks aren't everything :-)
IMHO, I would look into this leak. The brake system is hydraulic and, I
would think,
any leaks in the system would lead to operation deteriation and contamination.
