Can't speak for yours, but my '00 Dak got rear-ended 5 days after I got it.
Pretty much the same thing, except it was a full sized Ram that nailed me.

Everything from the doors back was replaced. Frame, not a problem. They
couldn't find a thing wrong with the frame, and I've not had a bit of
problems with it in the 40k since. I would suspect that the brunt was taken
by the bed itself, and the frame was only affected by the downforce on the
bumper.

Only problem I had was getting parts (actually, the body shop had the
problems) Seems that rear cab parts were hard to find, since it was only
11/99 when it happened to the '00 truck. Not alot of parts in the supply
chain yet.
