Jason,
        I don't know how many within reach of the camping trip are also within
reach of Jon's place. I know it's probably 8 hours to get there
(camping) from Syracuse, and I've got one of the most direct & shortest
routes out of the people I know who are north of the Shenandoah and
within striking distance of Jon's as well.
