It don't work that way. The PCM will look at the VIN that is flashed in and
not accept it. There are weight and powertrain differences.

This may be a stupid question, but whats stopping you from just saying you
have a comparably equipped truck in 2wd instead of 4wd and getting a
performance computer that way??

Anyone on this list had their PCM burned by KRC?
I've looked at that and like the idea of it being more
customized but don't like the idea of spending that
kind of money and not knowing the results (especially
since I won't have the original PCM to go back to if
something goes wrong...)
