YES! Use the 180 thermostat and the 3923's. More than likely your
truck will ping with anything less than 93 octane. The 180 helps, the
3923's help, headers help a lot, and add the MPI manifold to all that
and it should not ping with even 89 octane --(possibly even 87, but haven't
confirmed it yet).

Towing: I've never towed with mine, but I would guess you would be ok
with just 2000lbs. Just take it easy and listen for pinging. If it
doesn't ping, you're fine.
