Yep, that's true. Also, another issue is that Mopar under-rates
their motors, compared to the other two. (And especially compared to
Chebby!) I was watching a show (on TNN or Speedvision) called
Popular Hot Rodding; one of the hosts is Dean Skuza. Anyway, they
did a show on crate motors, and the Mopar 380 crate motor was one
of 'em! I was amazed. I've seen other shows like "Trucks!" where they
compare crate motors and its only Ford and Chevy. (idiots) Anyway, they
went out of their way on this show to mention that when they dyno'd 'em,
even though the Mopar was rated for 380, it made over 400. So, even
with a carb, your baseline is closer to 400hp, then use fuel injection
instead and it can only get better! :-)
