You actually shhouldn't have a problem as long as nothing is touching the
headers. Inspect them closely and use plastic ties to hold things away from
them. The header wrap doesnt do much for overall engine compartment heat and
it will cause your headers to corode. I'd actually advise using the wrap to
civer anything you want to protect. I put the wrap around my MSD coil (as
coils dislike heat) and around some tubing for my oil filter relocation kit.
My coil stays much cooler now.
