MSD 6A installation

Hi,

I've decided on an MSD 6A igniton for my truck. I'm planning to mount
the unit on the heat shield from my K&N Gen II. Can anyone think of a reason
that this wouldn't work? I measured it, and it would be an almost perfect
fit, and would be shielded from engine heat as well. I'd rather not drill my
truck if I don't have to.

Thanks,

Doug Myers
