The 5224 are a stock heat range with a "Special Power Tip".

The 3923's are one step colder with a regular tip.

Subject: DML: spark plugs

Everyone keeps talking about 3923 Autolites. The engine in my truck is
still stock for now so is there anything wrong with the 5224's that is
recommended for this engine by Autolite? What's the difference between
3923's and 5224's that is recommended for my engine besides being colder
plugs. I don't need the 3923's unless I'm out there at WOT constantly like
others on the DML. Or am I wrong?

Thanks
Jay
