Uhhhh....Pontiac used to have on (factory installed) that was hooked up to a
vacuum port. (They're idea was to gauge mileage from the vacuum
signal...not a bad idea...just not that accurate.) Don't believe
me....check out an old '68 or '69 GTO.

There's a lot of wiring that needs to be done to a number of places for
the computer. Plus sensors. I haven't heard of anything aftermarket,
and you can't just take one out of another Dakota and drop it in. If
you don't have it from the factory, you don't have any of the required
wiring, and you're pretty much out of luck.
