why not tune up your 318? take the money and get a K&N filtercharger - the
air tube style good for at least 1.5mpg do the regular tune up some good
copper plugs (AUTOLITES) a good set of wires brass cap and rotor, an O2
sensor and possibly an ignition like an MSD 6 which will give you about
2mpg and babby your truck, then take a figure of your 80 mile trip,
318stock- 80/16mpg= 5 gal per day x 1.50gal = $7.50
318 mod- 80/20mpg= 4 gal per day x 1.50gal = $6.00
4cyl- 80/22mpg= 3.6 gal per day x 1.50 gal = $5.40
you will save 2 bucks a day currently or with the mods listed you will save
60 cents go figure, you CAN have a 20 mpg dak, ask Jon
