You can remove them and have them triple plate Chrome and add the words on
top of the covers. The word HEMI still resides and now in the next few
months I will have them painted on "MOPAR HEMI"

|I'm glad its a good fast engine, otherwise I'd
| feel sorry for you 4.7 guys. I hope Mopar or someone will
| make some chrome valve covers for this engine soon. Mean
| while, please keep the hood shut on those things. Thank you!

I much prefer function to slow flash. Why would anybody want to replace
the stock valve covers on a 4.7???? Those are ultra trick lightweight
Magnesium covers. I can't believe Ma Mopar went to such expense! Its
about time! Not since the late 60's have the engineers won the war over
the bean counters.

Lots of trick things about the 4.7 that add up to a 125+lb weight savings
over the old 5.2L workhorse. That weightsavings is huge in a Dakota or
Jeep and is one of the reasons handling is so superior compared with the
competition.

Give me trick! Give me Performance! Save the chrome for my low rider
friends.
