I went from the factory installed Hydraulic Rollers to the Mopar Performance
Hyd/Rollers. After making sure that they both were in a "installed"
condition (oiled up), I weighed four originals and four Mopar pieces. 1/2
gram lighter on the Mopar pieces.

Bernd,
I knew you changed your lifters, but I thought you replaced them with a
different style of hydraulic lifter. Did you switch to solids? If so, I'm
real suprised they weren't quite a bit lighter.

Uhhhh....have fun. ;)

I'll have to check my numbers when I changed mine out, but I believe they
were 1/2 gram lighter than the factory ones (with fluid).

Hey Bernd,
My original redline was 4800 on the 318. It really sings at 6 grand. :'B
Rich
PS. Maybe someday I'll get a wild hair and replace the hydraulic lifters
with solids and go for 8 grand. BOOM!!!

And here I thought I was the only one noticing this. On the V6, and after I

installed the Mopar Performance Lifters, the redline went to approximately
5500rpm as well...up from 5200. (Go figure)
