Try taking off stalling it up around 1,200, see how she reacts to that and
adjust launch accordingly. Take off overdrive or put in third which ever
applies to your Dak. watch you Tach to make sure you don't hit revlimiter
when crossing, you shouldn't come close. If you are running street tires
don't do a big burn just burn them enough to clean the gravel buts that
accumulate while driving through the lanes, the easiest way to make sure you
do this well enough is to adjust your mirrors so you can see your tires and
as soon as they begin to show a little smoke stop. Good luck and have fun,
after this Wednesday you will hooked and won't be able to wait for the next
trip. Once again, Good luck.
