oops, missed the plug question. If you're having a ping problem,
Autolite 3923s. If not, 3924s. At $1.25 each (or less), it's no great
loss if they don't work out terribly well.
For another cheap mod, get a 180 degree thermostat ($5, plus a buck for
a gasket). I've been trying for 2 months to get a chance to install
mine...maybe this weekend the stars will line up.
