Tailgate weight is not necessarily a bad thing, good for traction just put
it down.
I have seen people do a T&T and results where non concussive to either it
being on or off.

Seriously though, I punched the numbers through the old compooter when I cam

back and with a 255/60-15, the truck "should" be capable of mid 15's.
(Minus
the toolbox and tailgate weight.)

The performance suspension really has nothing to do with the times unless
you
have the front end so tight that it can't move. (Drag shocks ar a plus as
well.) However, with my truck being up so high, the airflow drag does come
into play at higher speeds.
