Subject: Re: DML: TO: Ryan - Off Roading In Fla - Apalachicola & Oseola
The Ocala Forest is where I do most of my trail riding, it is on both sides
of SR 40 in the Ocala Area, I believe that's Marion County. I usually go on
the south side of SR40, you know the difference because the forest road
numbers are 2-digit north of 40, and 3-digit (begining with a 5) on the
south
side. I'd love to take you trail riding one weekend, if you'd like me to
show
you around, it's thousands of acres of forest, with LOTS of wildlife, so I'm
not so sure about biking, unless you're OK with bears and stuff. There's
also
lots of places to camp with little to no fee. Let me know if you are
interested. You might be able to look up a map of the forest on the www,
I've
never tried. Let me know!
