To each his own....

Front cold air or cowl...personally (from experience with a cowl induction
hood (4" opening on my old Camaro)...i'll take a front delivery anyday. ;)

   Bernd,

  If you can use an open element and figure a way to seal it off to
the hood, that setup should eat a tube style system for lunch. (Less
restriction, less chance for the air to heat up before hitting
the throttle body.) Track proven. :-)
