I have Westin Nerf Bars and Safari Bar. I had Smittybuilt on my Toyota. In my opinion
Smittybuilt is better quality. The Westin bars aren't as thick and can bend easily.
Smittybuilt is made of a thicker gauge steel, therefore will be more rigid. Grizzly is
another brand you may want to look at. At the time I bought mine, neither Smittybuilt
or Grizzly were available.

I have a brother that put Westen (<~~spelling?) nerf bars on his 97 F-150
4x4. I helped install them. They seemed to be very good quality and were
simple to install. His were black powercoat.
