Hey Dakers,
2k miles on my Dak and I think I hit the speed limiter for the first
time. Let me know if this really sounds like the limiter. I was cruising
on a freeway interchange (605N to 105W, Norwalk, Ca) going kinda fast
because traffic had finally broken up. I got in a little tussle with an
older camero starting at about 90mph, about have way through the interchange
(losing the camero) the truck suddenly jumped backwards. I didn't look at
the speedo, but I would guess it to be around 105 to 115. This is an auto
4.7, but it felt like I had made a poorly timed downshift to get some engine
braking, although the tach went down fast too. So 2 questions,
1.) Does this sound like the limiter
2.) How do I get rid of it
Is the mopar computer the only way? It was embarrassing to pull from a
camero then get my sock sucked off at the end.
