There is the R/T Club at the following site that may help you:
www.dakotart.com

Do you have some pictures of the R/T or website?

I am in Greenwood Indiana (Suburb of Indianapolis) i am helping my dad on
his 99 Dakota R/T. Solar Yellow regular cab with the shaker hood, hard bed
cover and wing, with one 12" black stripe and a 1" stripe on both sides of
the 12". Ran the truck once and got a 15.6 out of it. I heard there was a
gas trick that you can do that somehow makes the truck go to WOT faster.
Anyone heard of it? What are some cheap tricks I can do to my dads truck to
make it a little more respectable.
Thanks again

Welcome to the list Chad. Congrats on finding us Daskter.

I would opt for the Gen III but style is style. Depending on what is a good
looking truck for you.

Where are you located?

Hey all I am new to the list. I dont have a Dakota yet but I am seriously
shopping around. Looking for a 97 newer V6 extended cab to start with. I
drive a Neon R/T now that will run a mid 14. I am wanting to get away from
the compact scene. What is a good price for a 97 newer V6 extended cab? I
found one for 11.9k with 13k miles on it. It will get a motor swap once the
V6 dies. What are the weight diferences between the newer style (97+) and
the older body style (below 96)? Style debating on what style I should get.
Well thanks.
