Tach RPM for V6 while stopped-steady or little bounce?

I have a question about how the Tachometer/RPM should
be while stoppped - foot on brake?

When stopped mine is what looks like about 675RPM with
a little bounce to it to 700RPM.

Is this proper? Other than the above it is steady.

I'm asking because, when I had a cracked spark plug it
was similar but much more erratic.

I was wondering if I had another small problem - spark
plug or wire problem.

Thanks
