With the exception of the fact that my neighbor was asking me because we
have a Dakota R/T and have done some suspension work to, this is mostly
off-topic. I am trying to help my neighbor out, so please bear with me.
He is kind enough to not say anything to us when we are practicing our
60' times in front of the house. :-)
My neighbor is going to give his son his old (mid-90s) Fjiord F150 4X2
when his son turns old enough to drive it (which is soon, I think). He
would like to add a 3" or 6" lift kit and tires, etc., and is looking for
a decent kit, AND a place to do the install. He can do some repairs, but
primarily lacks the tools for this job.
While I am sure you may not know of kits for the truck, what kits have
proven decent on the Dakota? Also, are there any reputible shops in the
Houston, Texas area that can do a good job?
