FYI, I have the 3.90 rear axle in my '95 4x4, and I turn 2800 in 5th
gear at 70. (I'm 95% certain that's correct, I'll double check
tomorrow and post again if I'm mistaken.) This is a V6 5-speed (with
the AX-15 tranny), tire size is LT235/75R15.

I've found myself looking for 6th gear many times which, of course,
isn't there. It's pretty busy with the 3.9 gears and those small
tires.
