Are gas mileage ratings better? Say between the 5.2 and the 4.7 I think the
4.7 gets better mileage so a smaller tank will provide the same range in
total miles. And I think If you take a look at gas mile vs. distance to
empty on cars they all end at about +/- 300 miles so a Neon will only have a
12 gallon tank but will still go 300 miles

I just got the 01 Dakota sales book and it says in fine print that the
22 gallon fuel tank will be replaced with a new 20 gallon tank as
standard mid-year(somtime Dec-Jan) now i dont know if they mean the 22
