....Only the HEMI V8 models will be using the W5A580. Since the majority of
LX's will be V6 powered, that's going to leave plenty of extra transmissions
(200,000+ at least). These will be used primarily with the upcoming HO 4.7
and with the 5.7 HEMI in the Jeep Grand Cherokee and possibly in the Dodge
truck line-up.
Note: the W5A580 is capable of handling up to 427 lb. ft of torque. The
output of the aluminum 5.7 HEMI used in the Hemi C Concept is 353 horsepower
and 353 lb. ft. of torque.

Looks like the 2002 R/T 4.7 HO will get the 5 speed Auto after all. Then
the 2003 R/T 5.7 Hemi will get it the following year. Now where is that 6
speed version????
