I'm by no means a shock expert, however, my 2000 QC had the handling pkg,
the hvy duty svc grp, and all the other special pkgs. It is also a 4X2 but
it has the 5.9 engine. Before I had done anything to it, it was a pretty
good riding truck. Cornered well and had a pretty fat sway bar in the front
and a smaller one in back. I was at the So Cal Chrysler Classic car show
and ended up winning a set of Tokico Performance Shocks in a raffle. I
don't care what you paid for shocks, free is the best. Anyway, the shocks
firmed up the ride. I can do some mean cornering now. I know that I can't
outdo a Hotchkis outfitted truck but I know I'm not far away from that. The
only question is: Do I want to make it that firm?! So besides what Bernd,
etal. say about the shocks I feel the Tokico's are pretty good!

All of the discussion on shocks caught my eye as I have a 00 QC, 2WD, 4.7
with the handling package. This is the worst riding truck I have ever had. I
was
wondering if all were that way or if it is just mine ? Any feedback from
other QC owners would be appreciated.
