My FMS 19s had what looked like some sort of pintle at the tip, whereas my
stocks have a flat disc with a single hole. Did you use the lower lip on the
new ones for the clip? If you compare them side by side, the stock clip
groove is lower than the Ford's, but the Fords have a "ledge" below the clip
groove which lines up perfect with the OE clip groove, thus seating them at
the proper depth. Just my observations when doing the job. BTW, did 40 miles
on the NJ Tpke. tonight, averaged 16-18 on the "right now" mpg, used to get
20-22. Oh well, the thing runs better now! :)
