I stuck the GPS on the dash and took it for a ride. When my speedometer is
reading 60 MPH I'm doing 61.5 according to the GPS. Sooooo....

61.5 @ 3000 RPM w/ 255/65R15 tires w/ 1:1 transmission and 3.92 gears

If I put your tires on my rig now..

My tire diameter (28.05) divided by your tire diameter (32.83) = .854

3000 RPM * .854 = 2562 RPM with your tires on my truck at 61.5 MPH

2562 RPM's / 61.5 MPH = 41.66 RPMs / 1 MPH

41.66 RPM * 70 MPH = 2916 RPM's at 70 MPH

According to this my GPS system should indicate about 72 MPH on your
dashboard when your speedometer says 64 MPH. Have you had your speedometer
checked? Could it be that your mileage is better than you think!

Regards, Mike Klinke
