My 'other vehicle' doesn't go into open loop until the throttle position
sensor reads more than 3/4 open...then the factory set fuel and timing
curves takes over ignoring the sensor readings and closed loop the rest of
the time, once warmed up...I assume that my DAK is similar ... also since my
'other vehicle' is HIGHLY modified I have a custom programmed LPM (similar
to how the Jet Chip interphases) that uses an algorithm to adjust the timing
and injector pulse width that the stock computer sends out. My custom LPM
works ALL the time open or closed loop(or the vehicle wouldn't run!).
Doesn't the Jet Chip work the all the time also?? I don't see how it
couldn't....and be effective.
