well thumper i feel your pain... I was going to work yesterday morning, and
all the sudden everyone decides to stop...except for me of course (wet
pavement) so i skid about 20 feet into the rear of a 99 grand prix gt 2
door. I pushed his trunk into his backseat, and shattered his rear window.
his spoiler along with the window ended up on my hood. My airbags deployed
and i had some minor/major damage to my DAK. The grille was pushed in, the
left corner lights broke, the bumper was all dented and the air dam was
mangled...you could see where a piece of my frame poked a hole in it. The
pieces of his car that smashed mine also managed to push my a/c core and
radiator into the fan and sliced the hell out of it. I think I hit him at
about 30 mph or so...not sure, wasn't really paying attention to the speed,
know what i mean? So now i am driving a POS 2000 chevy lumina...that's all
the rental company had to offer me. So it looks like i'm gonna be dak-less
for 3 weeks or so. But seroiusly, my truck looked mint compared to the car
that it hit. they didn't even look like they were in the same accident. I
think my truck did damn good. I guess that's it, i'm too depressed to write
much more.
