It all depends mostly on zip code, age and driver population per capita.
(That came directly from my Allstate agent)

I use to pay a lot when I was 16-21 (over $2400 a year).
Now at 28 & married, moved only 15 miles from where I grew up (different zip code) I pay
$118/mo. for my 97 dak and a 98 Sunfire with full coverage. Don't get too discouraged,
it's just a matter of time. You're not the only one...

Here in chicago, i pay $220 a month JUST FOR MY DAK!!!!! and most likely
since i just got in an accident yesterday my ins will be going UP!!!! State
farm...gotta love them, but they set me up really well with the accident so
far...
