Ahhhh....
The increase in O.D is due to the extremely thin wall of the stock casting
and the lack of inlet shaping. To get good compression from a velocity
stack style inlet we need more dia for a bigger bell... Going to a true 4"
inlet system wouldnt be so bad... would it?
