Hmm, add me to the list! I've had that problem a couple times last winter
on my '99 4x4. It would usually happen after spinning a couple intentional
donuts or doing burnouts in the parking lot. Also happened when the wheels
would spin (ie: on ice), then all of a sudden quit spinning like when the
tires got traction again. You can hear the ABS pump whirring when this
happens. Anyway my 4wheel ABS unit DIED on me when making a stop on some
wet ice (whirring sounded unusually slow when it finally died), and the
dealer replaced the whole ABS until under warranty. Haven't done any
burnouts or donuts w/ my truck since then...kinda scared to now!
