Hey Bernd. I'm sure that Ron and Steve St. L will back me up here, but if
one bought a prechiller for a supercharged setup, it would make a better
intercooler than a prechiller. You'll get more heat transfer to the freon
if you have a higher temperature differential between the charge to be
cooled and the prechiller lines, so if you installed the prechiller behind
the S/C as an intercooler you'd have a lower inlet temp than if you
installed it before the blower. I'm not familiar with the system or its
physical proportions, but if it could be used as an intercooler it would be
time, effort, money, and HP better-spent, I'm sure. I know you're thinking
about it and just might have a bootleg or homebrew on the way already. Of
course if there's a patent pending, a new and improved intercooler
application would do well to find its way to the Patent / Trademark Office
if anyone wants to cash in.

I've placed a call to them but haven't heard back from them yet. It's an
interesting concept that would probably work excellent with Supercharger
(and Non of course) Magnum engines. :)
