Bernd, trust me, the intercooler leak is just a MINOR problem compared to
what is showing up now. I recently read on either NLOC or F150online.com
that they have started BACKFIRING and blowing head gaskets. I seriously
would NOT put up with these problems....
Let me tell you a secret..... I, believe it or not, have some friends on the
net who own lightning's! :-) They are actually, NO JOKE, considering filing
a class action lawsuit against Ford and SVT. They are probably going to pick
just one common problem, likely the intercooler leak and sue on it, and try
to get all the problems taken care of.
Dodge's engine was a Pickup truck engine in a pickup truck, not a van
engine. And the 360's potential blows the potential of the 5.4 out fo the
water! The 351s in the G1 Lightnings are MUCH more formidable.
I am not as thin skinned as some, but I would warn you about attacking R/Ts
on here, there are quite a few owners on here......
