Hey we must be in the same general area if you were racing at Milan, I live
in Livonia. First of all how in the heck did you get anough traction at
Milan to hurt anything??? Better man than me I suppose. Anyway, there are a
lot of options for a LS for your truck, one of the nicer ones is the Auburn
Gear LS, there is also a Detroit locker made in both 27 spline 96 and prior
trucks, and 29 spline 97 up 8 1/4". The Detroit is a little harsh but I plan
to use one in my 8 3/4" when I get it swapped in. I'd go with the Auburn for
daily use/abuse. Give Randy's Ring and pinion a call they beat DTS's prices
and the service is second to none look them up at http://www.ring-pinion.com
