I haven't done that in a long time but when I was your age...we modified or
bought modified shifters to aid in doing that. I don't know how sloppy
stock linkages from the factory are but in the old days they were pretty
sloppy. First you get the slop out, then you shorten the linkage as much as
possible, then you power shift with out dumping your tranny or clutch all
over the ground.

Subject: DML: Power Shifting

I know one of you guys has got to be able to teach me through words the
correct way of powershifting. I have tried shifting without lifting my
right foot off the floor but i am a bit nervous. Let me know if I
understand correctly, #1 get going in first, #2 Floor it, #3 keep right
foot to floor and quickly press in the clutch and shift the tranny as quick
as possibe, #4 dump the clutch, #5 leave 30+' of dual track rubber, #6
hopefully do not sneeze any gears....

Is this right?
Chris
