RE: DaimlerChrysler now Daimler-Benz (coming soon)

They should seriously considder letting the various divisions of DC run like
my company does. Every division is its own profit center. The VP in charge
is the GM for that Business Group. They could have the Chrysler Group, the
Benz Group, The Detroit Diesel Group, etc... This way every group is
responsible for its financial success and you still get to share the R&D
done by each of the groups.

Okay who's all for it? Let me in to take things over!!!! :Þ

The way things are looking, it is the death of Chrysler, unless they
will
allow the company to be its own distinct identity...Moses once said,
"LET MY
PEOPLE GO". I have no loyalty to Benz and club.

As I said I have seen very few mergers that we're friendly, and almost
always the company taking over went back on what they promised.

If he is in fact a financial expert he should have guess that what was
promised was not true, this is certainly not the first merger gone
wrong.

The fellow who wrote this was a financial expert, not a "naive" Chrysler
fan
or employee. He knows his stuff, but you can only know these things if
the
truth isn't hidden. Shrempp did his best to hide the truth, and he
managed
to fool the smartest. Simple as that....
