I am curious about the MSD Digital-6(PN#6520). Who is running this ignition
on the list? Bernd, I know you are, how do you like it compared to the
'normal' MSD ignitions? Jon, I think you said you had one, but had not yet
installed it. Please notify us all, as I am sure you will, when you get it
hooked up. Anyone else? I cannot seem to find it in the new Summit catalog,
yet they have the price of $279.95 on their website. If this ignition is
THAT good, it appears to be a very reasonable price. I paid $200 for my
MSD(PN#6470) 6-Offroad Ignition and another $40 for the MSD Noise
Filter(PN#8830). I wont have to use a noise filter with this ignition, cause
it has a built in EMI Filter Circuit and I wont have to worry about it
moisture; as with the 6470 ignition this 6520 ignition is also potted with
polyurethane for vibration and water protection. Just looking through MSD
catalog, this digital ignition appears to be extremely fancy and am just
wondering if it has TOO many features to be practical for my application.
Any thoughts? Hmmmmm..........anyone want to buy a perfectly good 6470 unit
with noise filter? :)
Thanks,
