Actually, that is not what I was referring to a few weeks back. It was to an
actual incident of PVC shattering in a collision, melting in the
intake/cylinders, and seizing an engine. Melted plastic is worse than chewing
gum. Think about it.

Jeez, it doesn't take long for revisionism to kick in does it?

ABS plastic pipe costs about the same and is much more shatter resistant.
