I reset the computer, and then covered the radiator with a piece of
cardboard. Damn near covered the whole radiator, she runs right on 200, in 40
degree ambient temp. A little high for me, so I'll trim the cardboard down a
little, but I think I got her fixed for the winter, I'll just pull the
cardboard out at the track to get that extra fuel flow. In the summer I think
it'll be ok, if its still too hot I'll just keep trimming back on the
cardboard until I fine tune it.
Thanks for everyone input!

I think you two are right, my truck has run really cold here lately, I added
the 180 tstat, but its also been cool here (40-60 range). My times at the
drag strip have actually gone down since the Tstat install, so I don't think
its hurting anything.
Also, fuel mileage has been about the same. No significant diff.
I guess I'll just reset the PCM, and see what happens.
Would be nice to know what the P 1281 is, I know the P=Powertrain, and the
1=MFG, and the 2= fuel air metering, but the 81 fault code, I can't find??
Anyone have a FSM for a 2000/2001 PLEASE ??????!!! :)
I'll keep ya posted Steven. Thanks Guys.
