    From this line I am sorta confused. I used to COOP with Cummins diesel,
specifically with service engineering of their midrang engines (4B to 6C
series)..
Last I checked these engines do not have timing chains, they have gears.
Second a
Cummins 5.9 cannot be legally be put into a small truck like a dakota...

this is a problem with early ram frames,(2) Rear axle must be replace with a

70,(3). the dak trans (auto or man) wont hold it, (4)not to mention you have

change out your hole front suspension since the engine is a LOT heavier that
the 5.9
the dak uses, (6) the engine will also be a lot taller..

It would be neat to put one in a dak but I dont think it would be worth it
