I just tried the same thing (searching for a 2000 5spd 4X2) and there was no
such animal around in all of the states that touch Ohio. I had to order one,
but I got exactly what I wanted. It was a good trade-off. Good Luck!!

Has anyone taken notice of the crazy dodge incentives going on? it's like
0.9% or 0% financing on 2000 vehicles in addition to $2-3k rebates. I'm
going to ask my saleman if he can find a 2000 dakota i might like. I'm
thinking 4x4 5-speed version of what i have now. (RC 4.7) I figure that it
would be similar to refinancing a house because the rates are so low on
2000's now. I might have to start over on a 5 year loan, but i wouldn't lose
much of the value of my truck and be able to get what i truly wanted in the
process. I could then also sell my beloved hotchkis suspension to one of you
guys for about $600 + shipping. That would help offset the cost even more...
Best part being the loan could be in my name because i have credit now.
Anyone think it won't work? I'll have to investigate.
