It may not mean much that the Telemarketing House used was in Texas, if this
is in fact true. However, I think the 5000 phone calls raises a question of
how legal such a tatic is during an election. Before an election took
place, I wouldn't have a problem with the Democrats calling 5000 people
urging them to vote. It happens all the time.
The issue of such calls being made AFTER the election, DURING a time when an
ACCURATE recount attempt is being made, raises a lot of questions about how
legal and how much "action" each candidate should be allowed to take.
Personally, I think both Candidates should be hindered in what they can do,
leaving all decisions up to the State (Florida in this case). Its hard,
especially in such an emotional time as we see in Florida. Any further
counts should be restricted, as the more the ballots are counted, the more
likely human error will be introduced and an inaccurate count will occur.
Heck, look at the fact that during the recount last week one county in
Flordia suddenly FOUND over 100 ballots that apparently hadn't be counted.
Hmmmmm.. sounds suspicious to me that over 100 ballots just suddenly turned
up. How do we know that won't suddenly happen again, thus introducing the
question of a rigged election?
Just some thoughts....
