Our 1987 Shelby Lancer (#485) came from the factory with Mobil 1 synthetic.
Despite, what even I believe about scuff resistance, my race engine builder
runs synthetic right off the bat in his personal race motors. It makes me
nervous, since I need my stuff to last longer so I tend to break in with
dino juice then switch over to synthetics.
