I did noticed on hot days it rides the 180 mark and cold days it rides in
the 140-155 mark. Amazing thermostat.

other way with a 195 degree R.S. stat. to see if it makes any mpg
difference.

Ok. I finally managed to put in the Robert Shaw Thermostat 180 degree
version in and it runs great. The water temp gauge runs half way between
130 to 210 and no higher.
Next item to add this week is the Stage-II chip, headers, and the exhaust
system.
